We have 3 sedation options for dentistry that we can use in conjunction with Novocain or even as a replacement, including:
laughing gas (nitrous oxide)
conscious sedation (also known as oral sedation)
IV sedation (also known as general anesthesia)

The types of sedation listed are especially helpful for procedures that can take additional time or require a deeper level of anesthesia, these include the following:

•deep fillings
•crowns and bridges
•placement of dental implant posts
tooth extractions
wisdom teeth extractions
