Are you fearful of dental treatment or facing the prospect of extensive restorative work or even dental surgery? If the answer is yes, we have an option to ease your anxiety about your next trip to the dentist: IV sedation dentistry (also known as general anesthesia).

IV sedation dentistry could be the perfect solution if you…
…suffer from mild or severe dental anxiety
…have an overactive gag reflex
…need to have oral surgery (such as wisdom teeth extraction)
…would like to complete extensive treatment in just one visit
…have sensitive teeth
…need extensive dental treatment
…have trouble getting numb at the dentist

With IV sedation for dentistry, we administer medication through an IV (attached to your arm).

Your pulse, blood pressure, and also oxygen levels are continually monitored throughout the full procedure, to ensure your safety. You are also hooked to a heart monitor.

Please note that when you chose this type of sedation dentistry, you’ll need someone to pick you up after your dental appointment and stay with you at home for two to four hours.

As an alternative to IV sedation, we also offer conscious sedation and laughing gas / nitrous oxide.
