Accident Or Injury: A Dental Emergency
If you have injured yourself and are experiencing a dental emergency, call us now! We should be able to get you in for a same-day appointment. Choose the dental office near to you:
Denver / Centennial Dental Office, (near I-25 and Dry Creek, just south of Park Meadows Mall), (303) 309-0749
Accidents and injuries can often lead to dental emergencies. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please us immediately. In many cases, we can get you in for an appointment the same day you call. We offer early morning dental appointments and evening dental appointments.
Most accidents and injuries that damage the teeth and gums are caused by car accidents and sports injuries. Any blow to the mouth can lead to severe, permanent damage, and the sooner you can get in to see a dentist, the better.
Dental emergencies caused by accidents and injuries include:
- tooth knocked out / missing tooth
- chipped tooth
- cracked or broken tooth
- crown or bridge falling out
- damage to the gums
- broken fillings or crowns
- swollen cheek
- injured jaw
Our goal, after an accident or injury, is to restore your smile to its natural beauty and function – and maybe even improve it in the process.
The dental treatments and procedures can range from bonding (for chipped teeth) to dental implants (for missing teeth) and root canals (for damaged nerves). Veneers, caps, crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays are also options for repairing and restoring your smile.
Not many dental offices in Denver or Colorado Springs offer all three types of sedation for dentistry, but we do. We have laughing gas (nitrous oxide), conscious sedation (oral sedation), and IV sedation. Sedation can be extremely helpful, if you need to get a large chunk of work done in a single dental visit and/or are undergoing a complex treatment.
For more information about what to do if you’ve been in an accident or suffered a dental injury, please contact one of our offices.
Please note: At our offices in Denver, Centennial, and Colorado Springs, we accept most types of dental insurance and are in network for many plans, including: Anthem Dental, Delta Dental, MetLife Dental, Humana Dental, Guardian Dental, Aetna Dental, United Concordia Dental, Assurant Dental, and Cigna Dental.
