Sedation can be helpful in emergency situations, and we offer 3 types of sedation for dentistry:
- laughing gas (the mildest form of sedation)
- oral sedation (the moderate form of sedation)
- IV sedation (the deepest form of sedation)
Dental emergencies can include:
•tooth knocked out
•fractured or cracked tooth
•wisdom teeth that are causing pain and/or infected wisdom teeth
•abscessed teeth, which can often lead to swollen cheeks
•crowns (also known as caps) that have fallen off or broken
•cracked or broken fillings (including silver amalgam fillings)
•broken or lost dentures
•toothache or dental pain
•TMJ or other jaw joint pain
Whatever your dental emergency, give us a call, and we’ll ask you to explain your situation over the phone. We’ll then schedule an emergency appointment to address your dental accident / injury for you as soon as possible.
The best idea is to contact our offices sooner rather than later, even if you’re only experiencing a mild discomfort, because that can often turn into severe pain in just a matter of hours or days.
