Accidents and injuries can often lead to dental emergencies. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call us immediately. In many cases, we can get you in for an appointment the same day you call.
Most accidents and injuries that damage the teeth and gums are caused by car accidents and sports injuries. Any blow to the mouth can lead to severe, permanent damage, and the sooner you can get in to see a dentist, the better.
Dental emergencies caused by accidents and injuries include:
- tooth knocked out / missing tooth
- chipped tooth
- cracked or broken tooth
- crown or bridge falling out
- damage to the gums
- broken fillings or crowns
- swollen cheek
- injured jaw
Our goal, after an accident or injury, is to restore your smile to its natural beauty and function – and maybe even improve it in the process.
The dental treatments and procedures can range from bonding (for chipped teeth) to dental implants (for missing teeth) and root canals (for damaged nerves). Veneers, caps, crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays are also options for repairing and restoring your smile.
Not many dental offices in the Denver metro area offer all three types of sedation for dentistry, but we do. We have laughing gas (nitrous oxide), conscious sedation (oral sedation), and IV sedation. Sedation can be extremely helpful, if you need to get a large chunk of work done in a single dental visit and/or are undergoing a complex treatment.
