Aetna Dental Insurance
We accept most dental insurance plans and are in network for Aetna Dental, which means that we’re preferred providers.
As part of Aetna’s network of preferred providers, our fees are based on Aetna’s negotiated rates, which means that if you’ll stay in network, generally, you’ll save money. We also follow all of Aetna Dental’s policies.
We’ll be happy to submit your Aetna claims for you and wait for reimbursement. We just ask that, at the time of service, you pay your estimated deductible and co-pays.
As a courtesy, we can also file a “pre-determination” of benefits with Aetna, to help you know, ahead of time, what will be covered by your Aetna plan. The pre-determination can be especially helpful if you need a complex dental treatment (such as a dental implant) or a block of treatment.
To make the most of your Aetna Dental insurance benefits, take a look at your policy and see when your benefits year begins and ends. Typically, most dental insurance plans follow a calendar year, beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31. These dates are important to know, because Aetna (like all dental insurance plans) has a cap, or a maximum amount that they’ll pay out per year.
We can help you schedule your dental treatments so that you make the most of your Aetna Dental plan.
If you need help deciphering your Aetna Dental benefits, we’d be happy to take a look at your policy and/or call Aetna on your behalf.
